Several 10-minute walks can easily add up to over 30 minute of exercise every day. A recent study from the Journal of Physical Activity & Health found that over 60% of dog owners walked their dog over 2.5 hours per week. And you don’t have to limit the cardio to walking. Many dogs love to run, which bumps up the number of calories burned even more. Just be sure you get the right breed for your style of cardio.
